Following the launch of Fanjiry association activities in Andemaka, in Vohipeno district, on September 2, Elisa Randrianirina traveled the next day to Jangany, in Betroka district. The interventions specifically targeted women, children, and vulnerable populations. In Jangany, Fanjiry opened a branch dedicated to women and launched several social programs. The association also announced its support for constructing a level II basic health center. Thirty million ariary and seven tons of cement were provided to support local initiatives. Construction materials were also distributed to families whose homes were damaged by severe weather. Protecting vulnerable people is another key component of the work. Fanjiry established a center in Ihosy to support people with albinism. In Jangany, Elisa Randrianirina called for strengthened protection of women and children and action against violence. These initiatives follow the official launch of Fanjiry activities in Andemaka, 25 kilometers from Vohipeno. The association presented three main areas of focus: health, education, and livelihoods through agriculture, livestock, and entrepreneurship. In both the Southeast and South, interventions concentrate on populations facing social and economic hardship. In Andranomavo, in Vantana commune, construction materials were also provided to families affected by severe weather. This support complements aid already mobilized by authorities and the National Disaster Risk Management Office.
