The expressway connecting Antananarivo to Toamasina has reached the 72 km mark at Anjozorobe. Construction work is currently underway between Analabe and the fokontany of Antsahabe Est. Along the entire stretch under construction, 32 kilometers have already received bituminous surfacing, while 64 kilometers of earthwork have been completed. These figures were confirmed during a site visit by the technical team from the Ministry of Public Works, together with the construction company and local authorities.
The visit also included discussions with residents of Antsahabe. Talks focused particularly on the project's impact on properties and rice fields in the affected areas. Local residents were able to ask questions and raise concerns about land that may be affected by the expressway route.
Construction continues in the Anjozorobe sector. Monitoring covers both the progress of work and issues raised by populations living near the route. The future link is intended to connect the capital to Toamasina. Its advancement continues to be tracked across the various construction sectors.
