The descendants of Vola sy Noro brought the legendary duo's greatest hits back to life. Presented yesterday at CCESCA, the tribute show to Vola sy Noro drew a large crowd, captivated by performances of the iconic duo's most celebrated songs. The melodies of Vola sy Noro continue to move multiple generations. Yesterday, the remake of the tribute show, first presented in December, was a major success at CCESCA. Numerous spectators, mainly adults and seniors, came to relive the songs that marked the history of Malagasy music. Throughout the nearly three-hour concert, emotion was palpable. The audience sang along to the choruses, warmly applauded the artists, and called for several encores. On stage, the descendants of the two singers faithfully revived their mothers' rich repertoire. Jérôme Randria, former backing vocalist for Vola sy Noro, played a central role in this family performance. The artists were accompanied by seasoned musicians, including guitarist Solo Andrianasolo, who had previously collaborated with the famous duo. Singer Voahirana also took the stage as a guest. The concert revisited several emblematic titles, such as Ho Anao, Eny, Hirahiram-poko, Imaintsoanala, and Very Maina. Lyrics projected on a giant screen allowed spectators to sing along with the artists and fully share this nostalgic moment. This new performance was the result of several months of preparation. Having passed away in August 2003 and December 2012 respectively, the two artists continue to transmit their musical legacy through their children, who perpetuate their work with emotion and faithfulness.
