The Vontovorona district will be the main beneficiary. Work to install a new electrical line, equipped with high-tech pre-assembled twisted cables to supply power to the Vontovorona district in the municipality of Alakamisy Fenoarivo, has been completed. This is the result of a multi-stakeholder partnership between the private sector, public sector, and NGOs, serving local development. The Filatex group, among others, fully financed the equipment for these installations as part of implementing its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. On the ground, the national water and electricity production company Jirama fully played its role as technical partner through the supply and installation of new poles. Finally, local authorities, the Alakamisy Fenoarivo municipal office and the fokontany of Antanety II, provided continuous institutional support to this civic initiative, led and coordinated by NGO YAMUNA and NGO TSINJO.

Network Stabilization
Completely compliant with current safety standards, this newly inaugurated network is sized to support local demand and guarantee sustainable supply. The stabilization of this network will allow the 350 beneficiary households to improve their daily lives. Previously, voltage drops and frequent outages occurred in the Vontovorona district. Local basic infrastructure, such as the health center, public schools, and the fokontany office, are also supplied with electricity. Furthermore, projects carried out by these non-governmental organizations will be simultaneously secured. For example, the Children's Reception House, sponsored since 2016 by the honorary consulate of Spain, the daycare center for 25 children, and the digital literacy, French language, and youth guidance training rooms will directly benefit. These entities have been committed for years in Madagascar to child and youth protection, women's empowerment, and support for people with disabilities within the municipality of Alakamisy Fenoarivo.
