An accident occurred yesterday morning in Ambohijatovo. Heritiana Ny Anjarason, publication director of RTA television channel, was struck by a 4x4 vehicle as he was getting off a bus with his wife and son. The vehicle hit him and transported his family to the emergency department of HJRA hospital before leaving and disappearing. It remains unfound to date.
In the afternoon, the victim's wife filed a complaint with the Accident Brigade. The 4x4's license plate number, photographed and shared on social media, could help identify it.
The director underwent a scan at 5 p.m. and was admitted to the hospital ward. According to his wife, he lost consciousness at the moment of impact, then regained awareness on the way. At the hospital, he was given an IV and was able to speak, though very weakened. He has swelling on his head and some marks on his arm and skull, but no serious external trauma was observed.
The family had left Alasora heading to Analakely to repair a phone.
