During a meeting held Wednesday, September 2 at Amoronakona between the Ministry of Transport and Meteorology (MTM), the Land Transport Agency (ATT), and presidents of national and regional transport cooperatives, operators expressed their intention to establish shuttle services to facilitate connections between the station and surrounding areas, thereby reducing travel constraints for passengers. However, the solution does not rely solely on these shuttles. Urban and suburban taxi-be lines already serve Amoronakona. The urban train, connecting Soarano to Ambohimanambola and passing through the new station, also offers another option for passengers. Its operating schedules have been improved. Beyond accessibility, the success of the transfer will also depend on the organization of Amoronakona bus station. Discussions from last Wednesday's meeting covered box usage, management of departures and arrivals, and vehicle and passenger circulation within the station. The stated objective is to establish a system allowing smoother traffic flow and proper passenger reception. Specific training is also planned for cooperative employees to improve service quality. Through these measures, authorities and operators seek to address the main concerns raised by the transfer. The challenge now will be transforming these announced measures into a system that is truly accessible, coordinated, and functional for RN7 users.
