Windows shattered and that wasn't all—one passenger was also injured on the head. A traveler was struck by flying glass from stones hurled by criminals on National Road 34, about 8km before Mandoto. The minibus was traveling on the national highway when the stone attack occurred. It appears the attackers intended to rob passengers inside the vehicle. When the bus stopped after the initial impact, the criminals attempted their assault, but the driver managed to accelerate and escape with all passengers. This incident marks another security concern on the national road network. Authorities must increase patrols along minibus routes to protect travelers from criminal attacks.
