The Reko group is exceptionally moving its year-end concert to September 20, 2026. For the third time, the Malagasy progressive folk quartet will take over Palais des Sports Mahamasina, following two sold-out editions in 2024 and 2025, with last year's show crowned "concert of the year." Formed in 2017, Reko has established itself as a reference: over 300 concerts, 7 national and international trophies, and two European tours mark its journey. This new edition, produced by Studio 58 in partnership with Orange Madagascar, promises to be a major cultural event.

Reko, New Ambassador for Orange Madagascar

The launch of this major concert also marks a symbolic milestone: Reko becomes ambassador for Orange Madagascar for two years. This collaboration, officially announced yesterday at the Orange Digital Center Analakely, reflects a shared vision: promoting Malagasy culture and supporting young art enthusiasts. "Their universe, both authentic, creative and rooted in Malagasy culture, resonates with our commitment to staying close to Malagasy people daily," emphasizes Valérie Ranaivoson, Sponsorship Director at Orange Madagascar. She adds: "We are proud to support the group and foster collaborations that bring people together and contribute to Madagascar's influence."

A Concert Designed as a Total Experience

On September 20, over 40 songs will be performed, including five new tracks from the album released in June. True to its identity, Reko will alternate between melodies that delight the ear and songs carrying hope. "Our compositions invite everyone to know themselves better, to keep faith in the future and find motivation to live each day fully," recalls Fy Rasolofoniaina, lead vocalist, noting that the group has "no particular target, like the sun that rises for all humans every day."

Three guests, notably Jimmy Harison, Erica Durock and TGC, will share the stage. The opening act, kept secret to preserve the surprise effect, will be revealed very soon. Before the concert, scheduled for 3 p.m., DJ Sugar Nathan will set the mood. Organizers promise exceptional artistic direction designed to transform this reunion into an emotional and collective experience. While other concerts are planned later, the Palais des Sports show remains the major annual event this year.
