Two men have been arrested by the national police after being found in possession of two eyes presented as belonging to an albino person at a hotel in 67 Ha Atsimo. Alerted to the presence of these two individuals suspected of holding albino eyes, the national police responded quickly. Officers from the 7th district police station in 67 Ha went to the scene and set up an operation to proceed with their arrest. The two suspects were caught red-handed at the hotel establishment. During their arrest, police discovered two albino eyes and a long-bladed knife in their possession. The two men were taken to the Crime Prevention Service (SLC) in Anosy for further proceedings. Investigators are seeking to determine the origin of the two eyes found and to verify whether the suspects could be involved in other cases. The investigation is ongoing.
