Armed robbery. A butcher was targeted early yesterday morning in Anosizato Andrefana. Around 4:30 a.m., three armed individuals robbed him of 20 million ariary before firing three shots, according to witness accounts. The victim was wounded, but his life is not believed to be in danger. According to an officer, gendarmes were absent from the post at the time of the incident as they were on patrol at Ambanimaso market, but they have information allowing them to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
