The Technical Education and Vocational Training Department in Betsiboka and its partners have officially launched a free computer science training program at Lisea Teknika Maevatanàna, which began on Monday, August 24, 2026. Approximately 60 young men and women will participate in the program over two to three weeks, though limited equipment has constrained the number of free IT trainees. According to Atoa Dimby Ranaivo, head of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Department in Betsiboka, there is no shortage of funding. The training aims to be accessible within the Betsiboka region so that young people can strengthen their computer skills. IT instructors are also confident, based on recent information gathered.
