Rebika is preparing 'Tamberina 2026', a retrospective show. Seventy songs to traverse several decades of music: Rebika is preparing a grand journey through its own repertoire. With 'Tamberina 2026', the group invites the public this Sunday, August 30, starting at 2 p.m., at the Esca Antanimena basketball court. This outdoor show, organized only in Antananarivo this year, will also mark the closing of its national tour.

The repertoire will form the heart of this meeting. Approximately seventy titles will be performed, songs that marked Rebika's history alongside more recent pieces, including lesser-known tracks. "We will remind people of the songs that represent Rebika and its history. We will try to present both the songs people hear less often and the new ones and those the public already knows," explains Noely.

The show promises to be particularly long, starting at 2 p.m. and continuing until the end of the repertoire. Ballads, popular songs and upbeat pieces will revisit different periods of the group's journey. Long-time fans will rediscover titles that accompanied their own stories, while younger audiences will discover part of Rebika's musical heritage.

Moving Forward

To accommodate this major show, the Esca Antanimena basketball court will be arranged to welcome the public in the best conditions. Technically, the organization relies on an established collaboration with Lax Pro. Sound quality has been improved with more powerful audio equipment, while decoration has also been enhanced.

Two days before the event, preparations are moving at a good pace. The group is working on both the visible elements of the show and those happening behind the scenes. "We are now somewhat ahead of schedule to have the necessary time for everyone to be satisfied. I think everything is progressing well, both for the visible preparation and for the group's backstage work. We already have the heart, spirit and soul ready," Noely emphasizes.

With 'Tamberina 2026', Rebika is banking on the strength of its repertoire to bring together multiple generations around its songs. An afternoon dedicated to the group's musical memory, between well-known titles, discoveries and memories.
