Mutuelle d'Assurance Malgache (Mama) is set to take a decisive step forward. The company announced the digitalization of its services at a ceremony held at the Carlton Hotel in Anosy on Friday evening. "This digital transition aims above all to improve customer experience and modernize the mutual's activities. Thanks to this future application, policyholders will no longer have to worry about opening hours or the geographical proximity of physical branches," declared its general director, Rado Randriamamonjisoa. "Whether you are in a rural area or anywhere else, you will be able to make payments remotely and report accidents," he added.
To ensure maximum accessibility across the entire territory, Mama says it has partnered with the three major mobile operators on the island. The project is in its final stages. Development work is nearing completion, which promises an imminent launch.
This technological modernization would not impact members' fees. The general director ruled out any price increases. "Access to these digital services will be provided at no additional cost," he emphasized.
Originally created by and for road transport professionals under a mutual model of shared contributions, Mama remains focused today on motor vehicle insurance.
