Antananarivo will host the first Indian Ocean dental congress this year. Madagascar will serve as the host country for this landmark event, taking place October 30-31 and November 1 at CCI Ivato. The congress aims to strengthen cooperation among Indian Ocean nations to support dentistry sector development, showcase recent innovations in dental surgery, orthodontics, implants and oral care, and position Madagascar as a leading destination for medicine, scientific research and university education. The inaugural edition expects 3,000 participants, including 300 international guests, comprising dentists, medical students, dental technicians, dental assistants, pharmacists, suppliers and health technology distributors. The event will feature approximately 40 exhibition stands and 20 international speakers. Yas Business is the main sponsor.
