Twenty-five children will benefit from free pediatric ultrasound examinations this Sunday, August 30. The initiative will be organized by the Institut Médical de Madagascar as part of its new community health program. Aimed at children aged 0 to 12 years, this first edition of "A Sunday for Life" will begin at 8 a.m. It specifically targets families who sometimes forgo medical examinations due to financial difficulties.
Parents wishing to register their child can call the toll-free Green Number 617 or go directly to the facility's reception desk. A medical prescription is required to benefit from the examination. For this day, a specific pathway will be set up to separate beneficiaries from the emergency department and facilitate their care. A medical team will also accompany families throughout the process.
This action is expected to be repeated monthly. Through this initiative, the facility aims to help reduce financial barriers that may delay children's access to specialized examinations. For this first operation, only twenty-five places are available. Interested families are invited to register in advance.
