The president of the Refondation of the Republic (PRRM), Colonel Mickaël Randrianirina, accompanied by his wife and several government members, visited Manjakaray on Thursday, August 26, to offer condolences to the families of Stéphanie and Haingotiana, two young women found dead at Ambohimanga Rova, and to provide support during this painful ordeal. The delegation, led by Prime Minister Mamitiana Rajaonarison, also included several state officials. The visit aimed to demonstrate the solidarity of authorities with the bereaved families, deeply affected by the tragic disappearance of the two young women. On this occasion, the PRRM and Prime Minister assured the families of the authorities' determination to shed full light on this matter. They notably promised that all necessary means would be mobilized to find those responsible for this act, described as "enemies of the nation." State officials also reaffirmed their commitment to combating criminal acts targeting the population and bringing perpetrators to justice. They assured that those responsible would be sought and prosecuted, regardless of the motivations behind this act. This visit comes as the exact circumstances of the two young women's deaths remain under investigation. The authorities thus intend to reassure families and public opinion of their determination to conclude the investigation and establish responsibility in this matter.
