Two young men were arrested by the National Police on August 23 in the morning at Imerimanjaka By-Pass, Antsimondrano, while transporting several items that allegedly came from a burglary. The incident began when a young man returning home encountered two individuals carrying several objects, including a television. When questioned about the origin of these goods, the two men claimed they had purchased them. However, upon arriving home, the young man discovered that his residence had been burglarized. He then realized that the items being transported by the two individuals could be among those that had disappeared from his house. Immediately alerted, the National Police launched an investigation and tracked the taxi-be in which the suspects were traveling. The pursuit led to their arrest at Imerimanjaka By-Pass. The two men were found in possession of a JBL brand television and a subwoofer. They were taken to the Central Police Station in Tanjombato with the seized items. An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the burglary and the precise role of each suspect. Following the investigation, the two suspects are expected to be brought before the courts.
