Rock, gospel, rap, ba gasy and traditional songs from Russia set the rhythm at the grand show held at Barea Stadium in Mahamasina on the occasion of Madagascar's 66th independence anniversary. The main stage of the 66th independence anniversary celebrations offered, yesterday, at Barea Stadium in Mahamasina, a succession of performances spanning varied musical universes. From the opening minutes, artists imposed their style and created a festive atmosphere before a large crowd gathered to celebrate this national event. Ken opened the show with his rock energy. For the occasion, he presented "Andao hitsangana," a song specially composed for the 66th independence anniversary. Through this song, the artist delivered a message of unity: "I invite Malagasy people to unite around fihavanana." He continued with "Sahy minia" before performing several of his most beloved hits, including "Maditra be" and "Dia ry ralahy." The artist shared that his participation in this event represented "a great challenge" given the importance of this national celebration. "I had to work against the clock between studio sessions and rehearsals for this song," he explained. The new pieces presented will feature on his second album, planned for next year and composed of twelve tracks. Gospel and Rock The program continued with Tanora Masina Itaosy, who brought a note of reverence through a gospel repertoire. The atmosphere shifted with rapper Bolo, whose tracks introduced an urban and modern touch. The audience also discovered a choir from Russia. Their traditional songs, accompanied by stage performances and acrobatics, offered an original interlude in the show.
