Nosy Be: 150 Books Donated to EPP Madirokely
The Festival Donia, organized annually by Cofestin, is recognized as a major cultural and musical gathering in Nosy Be. But beyond the stages and concerts, it carries a spirit of solidarity. In this spirit, Amida Sanna, president of Cofestin and manager of Madiro Hôtel, has just donated 150 school books to EPP Madirokely. This gift enriches the school's reading room and reminds us that education is a permanent celebration, as essential as music. For several years, Amida Sanna has multiplied gestures in favor of neighboring districts — Dar-es-Salam, Ambatoloaka, Ampasindava — and supports associations for women and children with disabilities through Graines d'avenir. She rewards the best students after each exam and supports the most vulnerable during the rainy season. "It may not be much, but being alongside children is essential, because they represent our future," she confides. Thus, Festival Donia is not limited to music: it also becomes a symbol of openness, where each book offered is a promise of future for the young people of Nosy Be.
