The F'Jery Vao Association will gather on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the SOOATEL Hotel-Restaurant at 67 Ha starting at 9:30 AM. Members are organizing a charity dance lunch to support the construction of the "Les Refuges des Pages" library in Amboasary-Sud. This event will bring together project supporters, people from Androy and Anôsy regions, and anyone wishing to contribute to this initiative. In a warm atmosphere, participants will unite for a cause dedicated to education and youth. "The Les Refuges des Pages project aims to provide Amboasary-Sud with a dedicated space for books and reading. A place where children and young people can consult works, expand their knowledge, develop a passion for reading, and discover new worlds through books. Access to books remains difficult in many localities," explains president Eliane Zanadimby. Schools often lack sufficient documentary resources and spaces dedicated to reading are still scarce. Therefore, establishing a library directly addresses a need that concerns young people. F'Jery Vao seeks to mobilize goodwill around this construction. The association particularly appeals to people from Androy and Anôsy, many of whom now live far from their home region. Solidarity can manifest in various ways, and here it directly impacts the future of children and youth. A single library can serve multiple generations. A student will find books for research, a reader will explore new authors, and a child can develop an early love of books. Thus, the September 5 meeting aligns with this approach. The day will feature music, meals, and reunions, with a shared goal: contributing to the advancement of creating the "Refuges des Pages" in Amboasary-Sud. Providing space for books also gives young people more opportunities to learn, understand, and imagine. In Amboasary-Sud, the "Refuges des Pages" are called to become this place.
