The National Assembly session beginning tomorrow promises to be extraordinary. Literally and figuratively. The hour of truth: 7 bills are on the agenda of the extraordinary session at the Hemicycle of Tsimbazaza. 7 like the colors of the rainbow, although orange has become practically invisible. 7 like the wonders of the world, though nothing marvelous should be expected, except for the military whose status—general (and other ranks)—will be modified and supplemented to their advantage. 7 like the deadly sins, even though most deputies would be capable of committing more. Take for instance the coat-turning that could come back into fashion during the 12 days of extraordinary session convened "either at the request of the Prime Minister after consultation with the president of the National Assembly, or at the request of the absolute majority of members of the National Assembly." It is unclear who made the request since it is not specified on the official page of the lower chamber which "is convened in extraordinary session on a determined agenda." Namely, the 7 bills, the last and not least of which "concerns the regulation of gambling activities and gaming operators." Bets are open on the fate of the one currently in the chair, even though the person in question stated that "the dissolution of the National Assembly and the removal of the permanent bureau are 'tsaho'." According to others "it is said," there would be a sort of blackmail regarding the dissolution or not of the lower chamber, even though the Decision of October 14, 2025, which constitutes the constitutional foundation and legal basis of the Refoundation regime, expressly states that "the constitutional institutions and bodies in place continue to exercise their functions." Application of 5 articles of the Constitution is prohibited, including the one concerning the dissolution of the National Assembly presided over today by the one who had precisely seized the HCC. The hour of truth will ring during this... extraordinary session.
