As part of Madagascar's 66th Independence Day anniversary celebrations, defense and security forces presented a dynamic demonstration at Makis Stadium in Andohatapenaka on Saturday. Organized by the National Technical Organization Committee (CTNO), the spectacle allowed the public to discover some of the skills and missions carried out by the Armed Forces. Although the demonstration started later than scheduled, the show captivated spectators. "Despite the timing, I was personally very satisfied. The parachute jump was the part I enjoyed most," said one viewer.

This second edition of the demonstration highlighted several disciplines, including parachute jumps performed by specialized units, as well as interventions by the canine brigade of the National Gendarmerie and National Police. For over an hour, participants presented the public with some of the operational capabilities of the defense and security forces. "These are only a few examples of what actually exists, because in the field, missions are far more numerous. This demonstration only shows part of their expertise," explained Commander Rindra Rakotondrazafy, deputy chief of operations for the first parachute battalion.

Regarding the connection to the June 26 national holiday, the officer clarified that this activity was prepared in advance to facilitate organization and respect the general program of festivities. "This demonstration was already scheduled beforehand to better manage timing and organization. It remains independent of the official June 26 ceremony," he emphasized.
