Cleaning and recycling: Eco-pulp transforms paper waste into resources
Used office papers can get a second life in Madagascar. Instead of ending up in ordinary trash bins, white documents and cardboard are collected and processed by Eco-pulp, a company committed to local recycling. "We collect your papers to give them new life. A simple gesture to preserve our environment and boost the circular economy. Professionals and individuals, simplify your recycling," explains a company representative. The principle is straightforward: recover paper and cardboard waste generated daily, mainly from offices and administrations in Antananarivo, then transform it. These recycled raw materials then feed local production of paper pulp and finished products, reducing volumes sent to landfills and limiting imports. This initiative comes at a time when waste management remains a major challenge on the Great Island.
