Ribbon cutting marked the official opening of Universital. The municipality of Talatamaty officially opened the doors of its new university, named Universital, this Friday. The ceremony was held in the presence of Andriamanohisoa group president Hery Rasoloson, General Director Landy Randrianasolomanana, the deputy mayor, as well as teachers and local authorities. "We observed the difficulties faced by young people in the neighborhood, deprived of adequate infrastructure. This university was created to offer them a framework that meets standards, with qualified teachers capable of sharing their knowledge and preparing students for employment," explained Hery Rasoloson. Registrations are already open and the first intake is scheduled for November. Four programs are offered: development economics, computer science, management and law, led by agrégé doctors. The general director emphasizes personalized support: project monitoring from the first year, language refresher courses, computer skills and public speaking, as well as physical and spiritual education. "We want to train complete citizens, ready to integrate into society," she emphasizes. For the deputy mayor, this opening is a major breakthrough: "This is a community university that will benefit not only Talatamaty but also neighboring municipalities and the Ambohidratrimo district." A second institution in the region, marking an important step toward democratizing higher education.
