Farafangana: Michaël Randrianirina attends community ceremony
In Evato, in the Farafangana district, representatives of the eight "Foko" members of the Tohitroky association reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties between communities. A initiative that the head of state, Colonel Michaël Randrianirina, came to support yesterday, Friday, August 21. Zafisoro, Antesaka, Zaramanampy, Atevato, Betsileo, Rabakara, Savoay and Zarafagnilia. Eight communities, eight histories, but one shared ambition: preserving unity. The motto chosen for this meeting sums up the spirit of the initiative: "Soa ty Filongoa", in other words the value of neighborliness and goodwill. The Tohitroky association thus aims to make rapprochement between these different communities a lever for consolidating "fihavanana" in the Southeast. Before the representatives of the eight "Foko", Michaël Randrianirina emphasized the "dangers of division". "Division weakens us. We no longer know how to live in harmony, we no longer know how to love each other, we no longer know how to trust each other," he essentially stressed. For the head of "Refoundation", the country's reconstruction cannot rest solely on institutional or political reforms. It must also involve restoring the social bond. "Fihavanana" thus becomes both a political and social issue. In a country marked by successive political crises, social fractures and rivalries, the call for unity seeks to establish another dialogue ground. Michaël Randrianirina praised the initiative of the eight "Foko" and their willingness to march together. For him, this approach is an example to follow. And in Evato, it is understood that before political battles, social bonds must be rewoven. Residents also recalled the case of two former parliamentarians who had recently traveled to Ambovombe-Androy, a sign that national political concerns continue to resonate in local communities.
