Jirama: "End of power cuts not expected this year", says CEO Hajatiana Rasolomanana
"We are currently entering the dry season," stated Jirama's CEO, General Hajatiana Rasolomanana. Several neighborhoods, particularly in the capital, continue to experience power outages despite recent efforts by Jirama. "The end of power cuts is not expected this year, especially as we are entering the dry season," declared the General Director of this national water and electricity company, General Hajatiana Rasolomanana, during his visit to the Amoronankona site the day before yesterday. "Subscribers have nonetheless noticed improvements in electricity supply. Efforts have been deployed by Jirama's technical teams as well as energy supplier operators, such as Enelec, to reduce these electrical disruptions," he continued, before stating that power cuts will gradually decrease if all stakeholders work together.
