Toliara: Fanjiry supports major Lutheran women's gathering
The major gathering of Lutheran women, held in Toliara from August 10-16, provided an opportunity for the Fanjiry association to offer substantial support for organizing the congress, while extending solidarity to orphaned children at the Amica center. Significant congress support Ten zebu cattle, five tons of rice and an envelope of 20 million ariary. This is the contribution provided by the Fanjiry association, led by Elisa Randrianirina, wife of the president of the Refoundation of the Republic of Madagascar, on the occasion of the 18th edition of the Grand Congress of the Women's Section of the Malagasy Lutheran Church, organized in Toliara. The donation was presented on behalf of the association by Professor Koto Bernard. He also conveyed the message from Fanjiry's founding president, who, although absent from Toliara, expressed her solidarity and offered prayers for the success of the gathering. Gesture Beyond its intervention supporting this assembly of Lutheran women, this entity also focused attention on vulnerable children. One hundred fifty sacks of rice were distributed to orphaned children cared for at the Amica center, to contribute to their food needs. This initiative places Fanjiry's visit to Toliara within a broader humanitarian dimension. After contributing to a major religious gathering, the association extends its work among a particularly vulnerable population.
