As part of the overhaul of the National Youth Policy, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is partnering with international and private actors to mobilize a thousand local skills remotely. This ambitious project is being carried out hand in hand with the United Nations Volunteers Programme (UNV) Indian Ocean, UNFPA Madagascar and technology partner Orange Madagascar. The stated objective is far-reaching: to recruit 1,000 young talents, men and women living across the island, eager to contribute to the public good. This massive recruitment primarily aims to involve the new generation in the process of modernizing and updating the National Youth Policy (PNJ). Approach This virtual engagement program allows volunteers to express their analytical, organizational and communication skills while directly participating in citizen consultations. It is a major platform for expressing young people's ingenuity and energizing development initiatives at the national level. The selection procedure is conducted entirely through digital channels. Interested candidates must first create a user profile on the United Nations global platform (Unified Volunteering Platform) at app.unv.org. Organizers emphasize that only one application per candidate is allowed on one of the two provided links. A strategic opportunity to transform individual commitment into collective impact.
