Groundbreaking ceremony at CEG Marcoz. CEG Marcoz in Ampisikina has not received any new building for half a century. School infrastructure is dilapidated. The Minister of National Education, Sendra Nirina Rajaonarison, took advantage of her visit to Mahajanga during the national school championship to launch a new building construction project. The new school infrastructure will consist of twelve classrooms to accommodate six hundred students. The official groundbreaking ceremony took place on Sunday within the CEG Ampisikina premises. Construction work will take five months. The building will also include a library, computer room, cafeteria, kitchen, infirmary and offices. "Our children are the future of the country and they are the ones who will bring innovation to Madagascar," declared the minister.
