2026 Baccalaureate: 42.83% pass rate in Vakinankaratra, 39.71% in SAVA, 60% in Analanjirofo
Following candidates from Itasy and Fianarantsoa, it is now the turn of Vakinankaratra candidates to learn the outcome of their examination, twenty days after the end of general baccalaureate written tests and two weeks after the end of the second part of technical and vocational baccalaureate. Less than half of baccalaureate candidates in the Vakinankaratra region were admitted. Results published late last week ended the wait: Vakinankaratra shows a pass rate of 42.83%. A disappointing performance compared to pass rates already known so far, although these have not generally exceeded 65%. For Vakinankaratra, performance in certain districts appears to be at the origin of this low overall pass rate. Notable are the cases of Mandoto and Antanifotsy, where no Series C candidates were admitted, while in Ambohimandroso, only one candidate was admitted in Series A1. In contrast, technical, vocational and technological series performed significantly better, with 589 candidates admitted out of 766 registered – including 507 admitted out of 652 registered in Antsirabe – representing a pass rate of 78.32%. Baccalaureate results are also available for Analanjirofo, Diana and SAVA, with respective pass rates of 60%, 48% and 39.71%.
