Textile sector: 13th store opens in capital
Malagasy textile brand Tsingy Rouge Madagascar continues expanding its distribution network. A 13th store was inaugurated yesterday at Analakely, facing Paositra Malagasy. This new location comes four years after the brand's launch and reflects its gradual development in the national market. The inauguration attracted several customers from the early morning hours. Some waited before the store opened. "I arrived at 5 a.m.," one customer said. Special offers were also provided, with free T-shirts for the first customers and discounts for others. Tsingy Rouge primarily focuses on cotton clothing and local craftsmanship. "Wearing Tsingy Rouge is like wearing a piece of Madagascar," explained Anjara Ibrahim Ben Soalihy, known as Bora, commercial manager of the group. The brand aims to develop a textile offering produced and marketed locally. Over four years of operation, the brand has gradually expanded its presence across several regions of the country. Its stores are notably located in various provincial capitals, reflecting a desire to reach consumers beyond the capital. This growth is supported by the experience of Wells, the group's founder, who has worked in the textile sector for over a decade. After this phase of establishing itself in the national market, Tsingy Rouge now plans to expand into foreign markets. The group particularly wishes to continue promoting Malagasy textile expertise and develop its brand beyond national borders.
