A new milestone has been reached for the future of Madagascar's education system. The new Technical Assistance Mechanism of the Common Education Fund (TAM-CEF) was officially launched yesterday at the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Ampefiloha, in the presence of relevant sector ministries.

Facing enormous needs and a significant increase in mobilized funding, the major challenge now is to strengthen the capacity of national institutions to transform these resources into concrete results for learners.

The TAM-CEF is tasked with providing sustained support to ministries and relevant structures in strengthening their planning, management, monitoring and steering capacities. This strategic support aims to improve the efficiency of public spending, accelerate the implementation of national priorities and consolidate the achievements of the CEF while supporting ongoing reforms.

This collaborative approach will break down silos by promoting better inter-institutional coordination, greater coherence of interventions and a shared vision of sector priorities.
