A suspected network specializing in motorcycle theft and fencing has been dismantled by law enforcement in the capital. The investigation uncovered a group operating in the Soamanandrariny, Ambatomaro, Ankadindramamy, Ambohimangakely, and Ambohimahitsy sectors. Arrests were made successively by gendarmes during the night of Sunday to Monday. Several individuals with different roles were implicated in the network, including thieves, fencers, and a woman suspected of storing stolen motorcycles in a house used as a storage facility. According to information gathered, three of the suspects had previously been incarcerated at Antanimora prison before becoming involved in theft cases again. Gendarmes recovered several motorcycles in the suspects' possession. The seized vehicles are those shown in photos accompanying this case. Their identification should allow investigators to determine their owners and trace the circumstances of their theft.
