This project is the culmination of several years of work. Its development benefited from support by the Ony association through its Booster Création incubation program, designed to help creators structure their projects and connect them to global industry standards. "Kalanoro is the result of very long work. The project started thanks to Booster Création, a support program designed to guide creators toward global industry requirements," explains Nicolas Auriault, general director of the Ony Project. Thanks to a grant and equipment provided by Ony, the team was able to professionalize its approach and present its project to an international publisher. "We were able to support the team until presenting the game to a publisher. It's a great pride to have contributed our expertise to a project that today reaches a global dimension while showcasing Malagasy talent," he emphasizes. This ambition attracted publisher New Tales, drawn by the strongly Malagasy identity of the project. According to Nicolas Auriault, international partners were immediately sensitive to its originality: "They were seduced by the strong Malagasy personality of the game, which they describe as a sort of African Mario."
