From Monday, August 10, 2026 to Saturday, October 31, 2026—nearly three months—traffic will experience disruptions due to a new traffic organization required for pipe installation work as part of Phase 2 of Antananarivo's Integrated Sanitation Program (PIAA2). Several taxi-be stops will also be relocated or eliminated. The street running alongside the Sainte Famille Institution school in Mahamasina, extending to the fourth district police station, will be accessible to users on only half the roadway, while the street in front of the main entrance to Stade Barea will be completely closed to traffic. Taxi-be users will need to adapt to the new organization as the stop in front of Antanimbarinandriana General Education College (CEG), serving lines 125, 127, 128, 184, and 015, will be removed and relocated to Antanimbarinandriana Square, except on Thursdays—market day—when the taxi-be stop will be located in front of Saint Joseph Amparibe Catholic Church. For motorists, those coming from Sainte Famille school heading toward the Gerb'or axis must take a slight detour passing in front of CEG Antanimbarinandriana and the roundabout in front of the Senate Palace Anosy, then continue toward Cité du Jardin Mahamasina to reach the Gerb'or axis. Similarly, motorists from the Ambohidahy tunnel heading to Ankadilalana will pass through the roundabout in front of the Senate Palace Anosy and reach Cité Jardin Mahamasina, then continue their route toward the Ankadilalana axis.
