Following Itasy, the University of Fianarantsoa is preparing to publish the 2026 baccalaureate results after conducting deliberations yesterday, which established and verified the list of successful candidates. The deliberation held yesterday, August 11, 2026, set the admission average for this year's baccalaureate in Fianarantsoa at 9.75/20, according to reports. Official result announcements via posting are expected today. As is customary each year, the list of successful candidates was broadcast on ROFIA radio, the University of Fianarantsoa's station, starting yesterday evening. The end of suspense is scheduled for August 12 for the 36,520 candidates registered in the Fianarantsoa University district, including 34,434 in general baccalaureate and 1,086 in technical and vocational baccalaureate. Unless the list was already posted overnight after our deadline, candidates can check results today through posting or via mobile operators. However, the Baccalaureate Office has 48 hours after deliberation to officially publish results. It should be noted that Fianarantsoa's success rate has not exceeded 60% in the three previous baccalaureate sessions: 57.89% in 2023; 55.15% in 2024 and 57.98% in 2025. For 2026, this rate will be officially confirmed shortly. Latest reports indicate the University of Mahajanga also plans to publish baccalaureate results in coming days, while Antananarivo University's results are expected around August 21, 2026.
