The Barea stadium was filled with blue and white-clad faithful of the "Apokalypsy" church on Saturday. The "Apokalypsy" church celebrated 30 years of existence in Madagascar on Saturday at the Barea stadium in Mahamasina. The ceremony brought together church members, religious leaders, and several representatives of institutions, in the presence of Colonel Michaël Randrianirina, president of the Refondation.
Presided over by Pastor Dieu Donné Mailhol, this celebration was an opportunity to reflect on three decades of the "Apokalypsy" church's establishment in the country. The church now has around twenty chapters and also carries out social actions for the population.
The gathering featured several speeches, notably from Colonel Michaël Randrianirina, who recalled that Christians present participate in building the country and contribute to improving society. "Let us build Madagascar, let us renew ourselves starting with spirit and soul," he declared, also calling for the fight against corruption, divisions, and difficulties that weaken society.
The celebration was also marked by the presentation of the distinction of "Grand Officer of the National Order" to Pastor Mailhol, in recognition of his social commitment and work with the population.
