The first successful candidates in the 2026 baccalaureate session have been identified. The Itasy Baccalaureate Office released the names of candidates who passed the examination in this region at the end of last week. The success rate stands at an average of 55.66%, according to sources at Itasy University. Results are driven by excellent performance in technical and technological education. The Tertiary Technology series (TTER) achieved a perfect score with a 100% success rate, closely followed by Agricultural Technician (88.9%), Building and Public Works Site Manager (81.1%), Livestock Technician (79.4%), and Commercial Agent (75%). The Accounting Management specialty trails this stream with 63.2% of candidates admitted. The Organisation-Society-Economy series (OSE) also performs well, reaching 76% success. Among literary series, results remain positive: series L leads with 71.4%, followed by series A1 at 62.3% and series A2 at 53.5%. Scientific series, however, show more mixed results, barely exceeding the average. While series C and series D record 64.7% and 54.4% of admissions respectively, series S posts the region's lowest score with only 37.7% success. Results for other regions are expected this August. The deliberation for Antananarivo province is scheduled for August 21, and for Fianarantsoa on August 11.
