The time for choices has arrived for future students. Universities are launching their recruitment campaigns with open houses and curriculum presentations this month, as baccalaureate exam results are being announced. Foreign universities have even traveled to Madagascar to present their programs. Siddharth Lamba, representative of Chandigarh University, an Indian institution, is currently on a mission in Madagascar to promote the university.

As part of its tour of Madagascar, Chandigarh University is meeting with students across several cities on the island. The Indian establishment will begin its itinerary in Toamasina by participating in the student fair organized by Mada Vision on August 20 and 21, 2026 at the Town Hall Esplanade, followed by an open day on August 22 at Stephen Hotel. The team will then continue its campaign in Antananarivo, first at Barea Mahamasina stadium during the student fair from August 25 to 27, then at Pavé Antaninarenina on August 28 and 29. The capital tour will conclude at Mahamasina Sports Palace on September 1 and 2, before a final stop scheduled in Antsirabe on September 4 and 5.

High school students are eager to attend these study fairs and carefully examine training offers to shape their future. They have the choice between studying at public universities, private institutes, or seeking opportunities to pursue their studies abroad, particularly at universities offering scholarships or reduced tuition fees.

Chandigarh University, with its 120 programs, offers tuition reductions of up to 60%. "Students benefit from tuition reductions based on their academic performance. If they choose an engineering program, grades in scientific subjects will be examined. If the candidate meets the standards set by the university, they can benefit from this reduction," explains Tokiharimanitra Ramanantsalama, a former student of the university.
