Most of these parties have no elected representatives and have not even held their national congress. For them, this political process is a windfall to obtain a "seza". Small political groups are rising from the ashes. The political dialogue process initiated by the President of the Refoundation of the Republic of Madagascar, Colonel Michaël Randrianirina, is giving hope to parties and political actors who have disappeared from the political scene for a long time. Following former presidents Marc Ravalomanana and Hery Rajaonarimampianina, the parade of politicians continues around Iavoloha and Ambohitsorohitra. The Head of State met, among others, Hajo Andrianainarivelo, national president of the "Malagasy Miara-Miainga" party, and members of the "Komity Miaro ny Tolona" (KMT), led by Lanto Rakotomavo and Miary Rasolofoarijaona. Recently, it was the turn of the "Asa Vita Ifampitsarana" (AVI) party, led by its founding president Norbert Lala Ratsirahonana, to meet the CAPSAT officer. It was certainly an opportunity for this former Head of State, considered a kingmaker in Madagascar, to share his views on the current situation. Has the grand master proposed a crisis exit plan or is he resurfacing to reshuffle the cards? That is the question. We will certainly have answers in the coming days.
In any case, in the eyes of observers, this political dialogue favors the rebirth of small parties or minor factions that have not participated in any elections and have not even held their national congress for several years, contrary to what the law governing political parties provides. It is no secret that most of these politicians gravitating around Colonel Michaël Randrianirina expect this political dialogue to lead to a new Transition involving a seat distribution formula and the creation of new institutions, as was the case during the 2009 crisis with the establishment of the Transition Congress (CT) and the Superior Council of the Transition (CST). Because, if the schedule providing for the presidential election before December 2027 is maintained, all these political actors, most of whom are former "Volomboasary" who have switched sides, will have no chance of coming to power.
