Local beverages are winning over consumers through their diversity and quality. Beverages produced in Madagascar are gradually establishing themselves on the market thanks to the valorization of local raw materials. Created in 2021, the Tapia d'Itasy brand illustrates this dynamic by transforming local fruits into aperitif beverages. Its flagship product, an aperitif wine based on tapia, remains its leading offering. It stands out for obtaining a quality label guaranteeing compliance with manufacturing standards. The company pays particular attention to quality control throughout the production process. Based in Itasy, the factory primarily processes fruits from the region, while also sourcing from other localities according to seasons, notably mangoes from Moramanga. Some preparations use imported white rum. Products are marketed by resellers in Itasy and Antananarivo. According to Navalona Fanajana, commercial manager, the main challenge remains strengthening partnerships to expand the distribution network. Despite this constraint, Tapia d'Itasy continues its ambition to promote local beverages and showcase Madagascar's agricultural wealth through quality products.
