The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training will organize national forums for the reform of Technical Education and Vocational Training on August 11 and 12 in Mahajanga. "The objective is to make known what exists in each region. Training programs will be adjusted accordingly so they correspond to labor market needs, while developing the capacity to enhance available resources," explained Todisoa Andriamampandry, Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, during the official announcement of these forums yesterday in Ampefiloha. This event is part of implementing the revised General Policy of the State and efforts to modernize Madagascar's education system. This initiative will serve as a major platform for dialogue between the State and its partners to develop sustainable reform of the technical education and vocational training sector. Discussions during these forums will focus on improving training quality, extending access to young people from all regions, and ensuring alignment with labor market needs and productive sectors. Following this meeting, proposals and strategic directions will be formulated to reform the technical education system. The goal is notably to improve its governance, enhance training quality, and help young Malagasy people access decent and productive employment.
