The rural commune of Anosy Avaratra is preparing to welcome its first gas station under the Jovena brand. Until now, residents and motorists in the area had to travel several kilometers to refuel, either towards Sabotsy Namehana or Talatavolonondry, where the nearest distribution points are located. The groundbreaking ceremony took place yesterday in the presence of Anosy Avaratra's mayor, Marino Rakotondralala, Jovena's technical director, Eric Sengchanh, ICC BP's general director, Philippe Boillat, and project manager Tojotiana Ramanantsoa. This event marks the official launch of construction work, estimated to take approximately four months. The future station will be built in accordance with current Jovena station standards. It will include shops and facilities designed to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area. For Philippe Boillat, founder of ICC BP, and Eric Sengchanh, technical director, this project demonstrates a commitment to bringing essential services closer to communities and stimulating the local economy. The station is expected to become a landmark for the commune, facilitate user mobility, and open new commercial opportunities.
