The Dih'Art Madagascar dance school marked its quarter-century with a grand celebration on Sunday at CCI Ivato. Titled "Journey Through Time," the event also paid tribute to 30 years on stage for its founder and artistic director, Rijamanitra Randrianarisoa. The day began with a prayer service before giving way to a succession of performances, entertainment, and choreographic demonstrations. Nearly 200 dancers, children and adults, lit up the stage, blending modern and traditional dances. The performances of the youngest dancers particularly moved the audience, reminding all that dance is also a cultural heritage. "I thank with all my heart the parents, spectators, and friends of the dance world who answered the call, whether from Analamanga or regions like Diego, Fianarantsoa, Tamatave, and Antsirabe. I am happy with this sharing that continues to strengthen our community," said Rijamanitra, visibly moved. The celebration continues The organizers are already announcing a dance lunch in December to officially close this jubilee year. "In February and March next, we will prepare a major event that will last two months. We invite all enthusiasts from now," added the artistic director, promising new pages of dance and conviviality.
