The Madagascar Medical Institute (IMM) has launched a new training program for general practitioners and medical doctoral candidates. The initiative aims to identify, support, and prepare a new generation of doctors capable of improving healthcare in Madagascar.

Following a recruitment phase that selected over sixty candidates, the program has entered its training phase. For two months, participants will attend courses and practical activities through interactive teaching, clinical case studies, exchanges with specialists, and regular assessments.

Specialized Training

This training is designed to strengthen their medical knowledge, improve their clinical reasoning, and develop their patient care skills.

At the end of the program, approximately twenty doctors will be selected to pursue a five-year specialized training in medical imaging. This training will be conducted in partnership with CERF (College of Radiology Teachers of France) and will take place between Madagascar and France.

The program is implemented by AROVY University in collaboration with IMM and CERF. Through this initiative, IMM aims to strengthen medical education and contribute to developing quality healthcare for the population.
