The Ministry of Higher Education has received five hundred forty-six applications for Accreditation, Habilitation and Equivalence by July 10, 2026. Among these files, approximately two hundred fifty will be examined by the National Habilitation Commission (CNH) during this session. Before examination, applications undergo classification, field verification and expert review by specialists. These various phases precede assessment by competent authorities. The digital platform Habilitation, Accreditation and Equivalence (HAE) facilitates application management. This tool enables tracking of different stages in the process for submissions from higher education institutions. A presentation and training on platform use were organized on August 3, 2026 in Fiadanana and online. They brought together leaders from public and private higher education institutions, as well as ministry representatives. This initiative reflects the commitment to improve higher education quality. The Habilitation, Accreditation and Equivalence system aims to ensure compliance with standards and quality within concerned institutions.
