The grim discovery of a lifeless man in the Frères forest at Andafiatsimo on Wednesday morning around 10:30 a.m. has left residents of the urban commune of Ambatolampy in shock. The body was found by two people gathering firewood in the forest, who immediately alerted the establishment's officials, who in turn notified law enforcement. Alerted to the scene, gendarmes quickly arrived accompanied by a doctor from CHRD I to conduct initial investigations. The man's body was found lying on the ground, showing no signs of life. According to preliminary examinations, the victim bore multiple deep stab wounds, notably on the forehead, both flanks, and the abdomen. According to the doctor who conducted the examination, these multiple knife wounds were directly responsible for the death. Initial evidence gathered at the scene suggests the victim was violently attacked by several individuals.
