A spirit of renewal and unity swept through Tobilehibe Ankaramalaza as it closed its 85th anniversary celebrations. Blending spiritual reverence, major political figures, and acts of generosity, the event left a lasting impression. The festivities marking the jubilee of Tobilehibe Ankaramalaza have officially concluded. The highlight of this spiritual gathering was the ordination of 613 new shepherds (mpiandry), joining the ranks of the FLM, or Fiangonana Loterana Malagasy. As the 40th promotion of Sampana FIFIL (Firaisan'ny Fifohazana Loterana), these new servants were baptized with the meaningful name "Mampionona," meaning "The Comforter." Before a devoted congregation, they received their blessing to guide and accompany the community in faith.
Republican Significance
Beyond its religious importance, the event took on remarkable republican dimensions by bringing together several prominent figures. The ceremony was held in the presence of the President of the Refoundation of the Republic of Madagascar, accompanied by two former heads of state, Marc Ravalomanana and Hery Rajaonarimampianina. A powerful image of unity at this center of Lutheran devotion. True to the values of solidarity championed by the center, the celebration was also marked by an act of generosity. Colonel Randrianirina, himself ordained as a shepherd just one year ago, stepped forward to provide concrete assistance to the most vulnerable. While the State has already provided support to Tobilehibe Ankaramalaza, Colonel Randrianirina donated a total of 40 million ariary to aid disadvantaged persons and strengthen the means of Ankaramalaza hospital. This 85th anniversary jubilee thus concludes on a note of hope, reaffirming the major spiritual and social role of Tobilehibe Ankaramalaza in Madagascar.
