The grand show "Journey Through Time" celebrated 25 years of Dih'Art Madagascar by highlighting the richness of Malagasy dance and craftsmanship. From retro dances to urban dances, passing through ballroom dances in the style of Rijamanitra Randrianarisoa and traditional Malagasy dances, the Dih'Art spectacular offered a true journey through the ages yesterday at CCI Ivato. The audience, composed mainly of families, came to discover a succession of scenes tracing the evolution of dance while promoting Malagasy culture. One of the highlights of the performance was the prominence given to vita malagasy. The dancers performed several traditional dances dressed in custom costumes in the colors of the Malagasy flag: green, white and red. A fashion show also showcased outfits made from soga and landy, revisited according to current trends, highlighting the craftsmanship of Malagasy artisans. Organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Dih'Art Madagascar and the 30th anniversary of Rijamanitra Randrianarisoa's artistic career, the show brought together different disciplines to illustrate the evolution of dance while paying tribute to national traditions.
