Betroka deputy Nicolas Randrianasolo, currently close to the Refondation regime, is calling on Refondation president Colonel Michaël Randrianirina to reconsider the position held by representatives of the Tiako i Madagasikara (TIM) party within state institutions. According to the parliamentarian, maintaining officials from this political party fuels the idea of former president Marc Ravalomanana's persistent influence over the functioning of power. He believes this situation blurs the message conveyed by the new authorities and advocates for their replacement. The elected official also commented on the recent meeting organized at Iavoloha palace between the head of state and former presidents Marc Ravalomanana and Hery Rajaonarimampianina. In his view, this initiative should not be interpreted as a sign of weakness by the government, but as an approach aimed at promoting dialogue and seeking solutions to the country's challenges. He considers this openness demonstrates a commitment to prioritizing national interest. Addressing the Tiko company matter, Nicolas Randrianasolo believes the authorities took a constructive stance by authorizing the group's activities to resume, despite unresolved financial and tax disputes. According to him, this decision was primarily driven by the need to preserve jobs and support the economy. However, the deputy regrets that this initiative was not properly recognized and criticizes Marc Ravalomanana for maintaining his criticism of the regime. The parliamentarian expressed concern about certain statements from the former head of state, which he considers likely to fuel political and social tensions. He urges all political leaders to prioritize statements that promote peace and national cohesion. Nicolas Randrianasolo concludes by urging the Refondation president to stop, in his words, 'trying to spare' Marc Ravalomanana and the TIM within institutions.
